Kegan and Jessica Shoemaker currently live in Lynchburg, VA, where they both met while leading a college life group together. They married in 2018 and have a baby girl on the way this summer! They also have two dachshunds, Mia and Sebastian. Jess is currently the Social Media Director at their church and for several years has served with their student ministry. Jess and Kegan did multiple student ministry internships together and continue leading college life groups. They are big Disney fans and love game nights, exploring new places and meeting new people.

Kegan met Jesus during his senior year of high school, where he also accepted God's call on his life for ministry. He graduated from Liberty University in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Leadership and a minor in Biblical Studies. He is currently in his final semester of a Masters of Divinity in Discipleship Ministries. During his studies, he has worked as a graduate assistant with the Evangelism and Christian Life classes at LU. Since 2016, he has served as the College Life Group Director at Thomas Road Baptist Church, helping college students get connected to life-changing community.

For Kegan, ministry is all about helping people follow Jesus by connecting them to relationships that point them to the Lord.
