We’re looking for an Upward League Commissioner to guide our Upward Basketball & Cheer league! The Upward Commissioner is a paid-contract position that facilitates the entire Upward season, including recruiting and leading volunteers for practice days, game days, coaching and refereeing. Our Food Pantry Distribution takes place on the 3rd FRIDAY of each month from 3:30-6:30PM at LifePointe, and is available to individuals and families within the Lake County community. A new Senior Adult Women's Bible Study meets on TUESDAYS from 9:30-11:30AM in Room 105. Cheryl Adams will lead the study on 'Aging Gratefully', a devotion by Heather Creekmore. 'Aging Gratefully' offers humor, encouragement, and sincere hope -- each day pointing to something you can be thankful for in your current season. Mom Tribe is a monthly gathering for moms of preschool and school-age children during the school calendar year and offers a time of fellowship with other moms ~ moms from our church and community are welcome! Fellowships are held monthly at the church, with Moms Night Outs scheduled at locations throughout the community. • Precept Psalms Bible Study, Pt. 1 - Through Psalms we learn about God--His attributes, what pleases and displeases Him, His relationship to the righteous and the wicked, and His revelation of the future concerning Messiah, salvation, and judgment. In Psalms 1-22, we learn how blessed we are who are in right relationship to Him, that we respond to Him in worship. Class will be held on WEDNESDAYS through NOVEMBER 5 from 9:00-11:30AM in the Dining Room. • Precept Deuteronomy Study: "Blessings or Cursings, Life or Death...You Choose."  Moses led the people faithfully for forty years. They are now ready to enter the land of promise, and through Moses God tells His children how to live in that land. Discover what God expects of believers and how we should live as His children in the world today. This study will be offered in the fall on WEDNESDAYS from 6:00-7:30PM and on THURSDAYS from 9:30-11:45AM. Senior Adults Living Truth (S.A.L.T.) Matthew 5:13-16 - Our Senior Adult Ministry at LifePointe is an active group of believers who encourage one another, fellowship together, and be a light of truth as we grow together in our relationship with Christ. Bible Study Fellowships, Luncheons, Monthly Mid-Day Mixer Potlucks -- these are just some of the activities of our age 65+ S.A.L.T.
