The Preschool at LifePointe Church exists to serve families in our community by offering a Christ-centered, high-quality early learning experience. With a focus on kindergarten readiness, our program weaves Biblical truths into a solid educational foundation—all while maintaining small class sizes to ensure personalized attention and care.


Our mission is to provide exceptional learning opportunities that prepare students for the future by expanding their minds, growing their faith, and building strong character. In a nurturing and inspiring environment, we aim to help every child grow cognitively, build positive social skills, and know deep in their hearts that God knows them, loves them, and calls them His own.

Class information

SPACE IS STILL AVAILABLE for the 2026-2027 School Year, August 10-May 28: 
  • 3 year-olds - Class schedule includes M-F, M/W/F or T/TH from 9:00AM-12:00PM.
  • 4 year-olds - FREE VPK (children required to be 4 years old by September 1). Free with State of Florida VPK Voucher located here - www.elclc.org. Contact The Preschool Office for more details.

Additional Programs available for the School Year as a Drop-In option. Reservations required as capacity is limited each day:

  • Early Bird - Drop your child off at 8:30AM for fun activities before the school day begins ($6.00/day).
  • Lunch & More Program - Provide a lunch for your child that day as they stay from 12:00-1:00PM for lunch and additional educational experiences ($10.00/day).

meet the preschool staff

  • JT Carter, Director

    JT enjoys building a place where children can blossom and learn about the love of God. She and her husband, Ashby attend LifePointe Church and have two children, Rachael and Eric, and three "perfect" grandchildren, Carter, Isabelle and Nicholas. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, watercolor painting, playing with her dog, and just being with her grandchildren.

  • Isabella Perez-Cervera, Teacher

    Isabella loves being part of a child's first year of learning, watching their personality and confidence grow, especially helping them in the areas of kindness and independence, all while teaching them about God's love. Isabella and her family became a part of the LifePointe Church family in 2022 and are blessed to meet so many amazing people. In her down time, she loves to travel and try new things, and just spend time with family and friends.

  • Jeni Sellers, Teacher

    As a Christian teacher, Jeni believes it is important that she follows in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, helping her students learn He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. She believes God is using her to help children freely be themselves and recognize their God-given gifts. Jeni and her husband, James, have four sons, and have been members of LifePointe since 2006. Jeni also serves as the church's preschool ministry coordinator. She enjoys watching Florida State football with her family, reading, going to the beach, or trying out a new sushi restaurant.

  • Stephanie Short, Teacher

    Stephanie enjoys the interactions she experiences teaching "God's precious creations" as they grasp a concept, learn something new -- just watching "the light come on!" She especially enjoys helping them learn that God loves them and made them unique and special. Showing kindness, sharing, following directions, letters, numbers, shapes, so many things to learn during the year! Stephanie and her husband, John, have three children, and two miniature Schnauzers. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, snorkeling, and singing!

  • Amber Steen, Teacher

    Amber's biggest joy teaching children is knowing this is their first steppingstone into education, and she has the opportunity to teach them to love school! She enjoys spending time with each child, seeing them grow, change each day, learning their different personalities and loving it. Amber has a big family of six, including a cat and a dog, and they spend a lot of time together just playing games and laughing every day! She is a softball coach and loves to be at the ballfield with her family, or they will spend family time at the beach or Sea World.
