Why tithe to the church?

Tithing is the foundation of giving and has always been a command of God from Genesis 14 until today. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for Him and for others. All we own belongs to God. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives and are reminded weekly that all blessings come from Him.

Bring the full tenth into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Test me in this way," says the Lord of Armies. "See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure."

Malachi 3:10

RADICAL OBEDIENT GIVING. Take the Challenge to be radically obedient to God in every aspect of your life, including your finances.

If you're not tithing already, a great way to start is with the 100 DAY TITHE CHALLENGE. Essentially, it's a contract based on the promises of God in Malachi 3:10-11.

giving above & beyond

If you would like to support a specific cause such as helping one of our sponsored missionaries, giving to the Debt Reduction Plan, or help scholarship one of our students as they raise funds to go to camp, please specify your wishes in the comments or memo section when you give online.
